Making A Purchase: Making a purchase could not be easier. Just fill out our quick registration form and you will get instant access to all our products and prices.  Then simply browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling:
You will receive the goods within 4 working days from the date of your order (except for Islands, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and International deliveries - see below for details). We will normally dispatch your order within 2 business days on clearance of payment.  Shipping & Handling cost is calculated as a fixed percentage of the order value exclusive of VAT. Shipping cost varies by region, please email us if you are ordering from outside the defined shipping zones.
* For all international deliveries, please email us for exact time scales
* Islands and Scottish Highlands means all addresses within the postcode areas beginning with PH19-44, PH49-50, IV, KW, PA20-88, ZE, KA27 & KA28, HS and all addresses within the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Isles of Scilly. An additional 48 hours should be allowed for deliveries in these areas
For all deliveries to Northern Ireland please allow additional 2-3 working days

PLEASE NOTE: If nobody is available to collect the delivery couriers may leave a card to inform you with information on various methods on how you can get your delivery.

Back Orders: If your item is not in stock, we will send ONLY the items in stock and adjust your invoice accordingly. Any difference in the order value will be refunded.

 

Tax Charges: For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. All orders outside UK or the European Union are VAT free.

 

Credit Card Security: We accept credit card payments through our SSL Golden Padlock secure server. We only accept card payments where the invoice address matches the address the card is registered to.

Privacy Policy: ASD do not disclose buyers' information to third parties for any marketing or commercial purposes.  All information is securely stored and used solely to fulfil orders and/or communicate directly with our registered customers.

Returns Policy Returns Policy If you wish to return any non faulty items, a 10% handling charge and an uplifting charge will be applied. If you have received a faulty or incorrect item, you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt. We will pay for the postage cost for returning the faulty items and will replace the item with a brand new product or refund. The delivery timescales will be same as mentioned above in the Delivery policy.
PLEASE NOTE: We will only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty.

Cancellation Policy: You can cancel your order anytime before it is dispatched; this is usually by midday two days after the order has been placed, please see our Delivery Charges page for further details on dispatch.  Please call us on 0116 254 6900 if you would like to cancel.  If you would like to cancel your order after it has been dispatched then this will be treated as a return and a handling charge and an uplifting charge will apply.  Please see our Returns Policy for further details. We reserve the right to cancel any paid or unpaid order at any moment in time without any reason. If the order has been paid and has been cancelled then a refund will be done when the order is cancelled.


Contract Terms: When you place an order to purchase a product from astroimports.co.uk, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we've dispatched that product to you (the "Dispatch Confirmation E-mail"). That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to have been dispatched do not form part of that contract.

 

Remittance Terms If for any reason we need to refund you for any part of your order, our refunds are usually processed every Friday.  All refunds are returned via the original payment method for example if you paid by PayPal we would refund your PayPal account.
